By scheduling a Drive Test with S.O.D.E., Inc., you agree to abide by all our Terms & Conditions.

FEES: $70 (weekdays) - $80 (Saturdays/Holidays)

No additional fee to use our car.​

We only schedule 3 weeks at a time.

You wont see appointments more than 3 weeks from today.

If you took your Knowledge Test online, you need to visit the DMV to complete the process before taking your drive test.

You must be 16 or older to test (no exceptions).

We offer tests before and after office hours.

If you have a test schedule before/after office hours and the doors are locked, wait at the entrance.​

Drive Test Details​
-
Our Drive Tests are Class C License only. We do not offer testing for any other endorsements.

Test Fee: $70 (weekday) - $80 (Saturday/holiday) for ONE Class C Drive Test. (test fee only - ONE test)

Appointments will take approximately 30 minutes.

You are required to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment fully prepared with required documents in hand.

Have in your hand ready to show examiner:

The cars registration & Insurance - ONLY if using a personal vehicle

There is no extra fee to use our company car for your test.

In case your personal car is unavailable at the time of the appointment, you're still welcome to use our car.

Unless you are required by the DMV to use a personal vehicle. ​

Our 3rd-Party DMV Drive Tests are only offered in English. (Some examiners use Spanish terminology).​​​

S.O.D.E. Inc.'s Policy states no refunds will be issued for cancelation, rescheduling, or no shows occurring within 48 hours of a scheduled appointment.

This policy applies to appointments made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled test time.​
-
Example: If you schedule an appointment that is tomorrow, then decide to cancel after a couple of hours, you're not eligible to reschedule or receive a refund.

​It is your responsibility to make sure you're eligible with the DMV to take the test.​

If you arrive to your appointment and the DMV system shows you're not eligible, you forfeit your appointment and fee.

We are not permitted to test anyone in the DMV At Risk Program. ​​

If you are in the At Risk Program and schedule an appointment with us, you will forfeit your appointment and fee. ​

We are not permitted by the DMV to test anyone with adaptive equipment.
-
If you have adaptive equipment and schedule an appointment with us, you will forfeit your appointment and fee.

Before Your Appointment​
-
*You are required to arrive 10 minutes before the appointment. You will not be tested if you arrive unprepared and after your start time. * ​

You are responsible for knowing your appointment date and time the appointment.

You are responsible for confirming your eligibility with the DMV before the appointment.

Have your Original Photo ID ready to show the examiner. Click here for a list of acceptable Photo ID

Have the original valid registration and valid insurance card ready to show the examiner if you're using a vehicle you brought with you.

Go inside the building. Wait at the entrance if the door is locked.

If you're under 18, you must:

Show the examiner your Learner's Permit.
-
Copies of your Learner's Permit are NOT allowed.
-
The Temporary DMV-Issued Learner's Permit IS allowed.​

You must have held your permit for 6 months according to the issue date on the permit. (no exceptions)
-
You must bring your Oregon Learner’s Permit to the appointment to provide proof to the examiner that you have held the permit for the required duration.

OUT-OF-STATE Permit: You must bring your Out-of-State Permit to the appointment to provide proof to the examiner that you have held the permit for the required duration.​​

In addition, you are required to have a current knowledge test on file with the Oregon DMV.​

Important Notes

We are not the DMV. We are contracted with the DMV to offer 3rd-Party DMV Drive Tests.

Your confirmation email will include your test location.

If your appointment is before or after business hours, the doors will be locked. Please wait at the entrance for your examiner.
