Oregon DMV requires that you hold your permit for a minimum of 6 months. We will not be able to test you if you schedule an appointment before your 6 months requirement.
You will forfeit your appointment and fee. 

  • Be sure to calculate this correctly. We can't test you even 1 day short of your 6 months. ​You forfeit your appt and fee if you calculate wrong.

    • If issued on 3/22/25, your 6 months is met on or after 9/22/25. (Do NOT count the first month as one month)​

OUT OF STATE: If you've held your Out-of-State permit for more than 6 months, click yes. You are required to show your Out-of-State permit to the examiner at the time of the test.
