Drive Tests - Third Party DMV

You MUST READ the Terms and Conditions (found on the previous page) prior to scheduling a drive test appointment

S.O.D.E. COVID Safety Precautions

  • All examiners and applicants are required to wear masks during the test.  We request you bring your own mask, one will be provided if necessary.

  • Each vehicle is equipped with sanitizing wipes.  Before an examiner’s day begins and after each test, the vehicle is wiped down. 

  • You will not be allowed to take your test if you have had a cough, fever or shortness of breath within the last 72 hours, or if you have been in contact in the last 14 days with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19.

Schedule a Third Party DMV Drive Test 

Schedule a 3rd Party DMV drive test below.  After passing the drive test, we will report your results to the DMV electronically within 24 hours of your appointment.  You will need to schedule a separate appointment with the DMV to obtain your license.  We are scheduling 2 weeks in advance.

DRIVE TEST ELIGIBILITY  (Be sure to read all of the Terms & Conditions on the previous page)

  • If the Applicant has any DMV fees/fines, they must be paid in full prior to the Applicant's scheduled drive test appointment.

  • A PHOTO ID must be brought to the scheduled drive test (see examples on Third Party DMV Drive Test Terms & Conditions page).

  • The Applicant's Oregon ID # must be provided at the time of scheduling an appointment (it can be found on the Applicant's Learner's Permit or the Applicant's receipt when the Applicant passed the Knowledge Test and Vision Screening).

  • The Applicant may not schedule a drive test appointment with an Examiner who had previously been the Applicant's driver education classroom or behind-the-wheel instructor.

  • The Applicant cannot take another drive test on the same day as a failed drive test.
